359. Occupancy tenures will not be claimed by Government.
- Government has, however, decided not to act upon its right of taking possession as escheats of mere occupancy tenures (whether transferable or not) of cultivators dying without heirs and in such cases Collectors should not put forward any claim on behalf of Government, and no report to the Board need be made.
