Section 18(1)(ii) in The West Bengal State University (Barasat, North 24-Parganas) Act, 2007.

(ii)to confer, on the recommendation of the State Government and the University Grants Commission, such special powers as may be prescribed by Statutes on any college or institution providing instruction for courses of study in fine arts or music or conducting higher studies and research:
