- When any post or posts is or are abolished persons shall be selected for discharge or reversion on the basis of juniority unless for reasons to be recorded the services of any person are considered indispensable by the Board.Explanation. - A post the pay or scale of pay of which is reduced shall be deemed to be abolished within the meaning of this regulation.
