Section 6 in Bihar Government Servants (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 2005

6. Classification of posts.

- All the civil posts under the State shall, by a general or special order of the Government, be classified as follows:-
(i)Group-A
(ii)Group-B
(iii)Group-C
(iv)Group-D
Explanation - All references to Civil Services/Civil Posts of Group-A, Group-B, Group-C and Group-D in all Rules, Orders, Schedules, Notifications, Regulations, Instructions and Directions in force, immediately before the commencement of these Rules shall be construed as references to Civil Services/Civil posts, Group-A, Group-B, Group-C and Group-D respectively.
