Section 257 in The Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1992
257. Repeal and Savings.
(1)The Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1940 are hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding the said repeal anything done or any action taken under any of the provisions of the Rules so repealed shall, in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of these Rules, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of these Rules.
