DECISION:

3.  The appellant's representative stated that the information was not furnished within time.  He  suspects   something   wrong   in   suppressing   the   information.     The   CPIO   stated   that   the  application was received on 30112015 and the information was furnished on 31122015.  The  Commission observes that the respondent office should have started the process of collecting  Page 1 the  information   without   waiting   for   17  days.     The   public   authority   provided  the   number   of  professors, Associate Professors and other details on their web site.  The CPIO represented  that a comprehensive data base on  the courses, teachers qualified, etc is under preparation  and he is hopeful of completing it within 3 months.  The Commission finds that it is essential  for a prestigious university like the JNU to disclose such information under section 4(1)(b).
