320. Prohibition of sale except for cash and of making free gifts.
- No holder of a licence for the retail sale of country liquor, and no holder of a licence for the retail sale of foreign liquor for consumption on the premises shall under such a licence sell such intoxicants on credit or receive any pledge for payment of the price thereof or anything but money in exchange thereof. He is also prohibited from making free gifts of such intoxicants.Provided that the holder of a club or hotel licence may sell foreign liquor on credit under such a licence to bonafide members of the club or lodgers in the hotel.
