(1)Any Municipal Board may join with any other Local Authority or with any cantonment authority, or with more than one such local authority or cantonment authority, in constituting out of their respective bodies a joint committee, consisting of not more than two Commissioners/members from each of such bodies, for any purpose in which they are jointly interested, and in delegating to any such joint committee any power which might be exercised and which can be lawfully delegated by either or any of the local authority or cantonment authorities concerned.
