Section 16(1) in Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969
(1)Subject to such control and restrictions as may be specified in the rules made in this behalf, a Planning Authority may appoint such number of officers and employees as may be necessary for the efficient performance of its functions and may determine their designations and grades.
