Section 53A(1) in The Gujarat University Act, 1949
(1)The governing body of an affiliated college and of a recognized institution shall make adequate provisions for the benefit of the members of the teaching, other academic and nonteaching staff of such college or institution in matters of insurance, pension and provident fund or for other benefits.
