Section 40 in Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986
40. Legal Proceedings.
- If at the commencement of this Act any suit, appeal or other proceedings of whatever nature, are pending by or against the existing University, the same shall not abate, be discontinued or be in any way pre-judicially affected by reasons of the coming into force of this Act, but the suit, appeal or other proceedings may be continued, prosecuted or enforced by or against the corresponding University incorporated under this Act.
