Section 79A(2) in The Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1957

(2)The provisions of the Tamil Nadu Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Tamil Nadu Act IX of 1955) and the rules made thereunder relating to permanent cinemas shall be applied to the semi-permanent cinemas subject to the conditions specified in sub-rule (4).
