141. Power to require land or building to be cleansed.-
(1)The Executive Officer, may, by notice in writing, require the owner, lessee or occupier of any building or land in the cantonment, which appears to him to be in filthy or insanitary state, within twenty-four hours to cleanse the same or otherwise put it in a proper state, in such manner as may be specified in the notice.(2)If, within three months from the date of the service of a notice under sub-section (1), any building or land in respect of which the notice was issued is again in a filthy or insanitary state, the owner, lessee or occupier, as the case may be, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees.
