FACTS :
The matter is called for hearing today dated 16.8.2010. Appellant present. The public authority is represented by Capt Atul Gujar.
2. The matter, in short, is that the appellant is working as a Clerk in AEC (Records), Pachmardhi. He had applied for remustering into the PA Cadre but this was not permitted due to high deficiency in the clerical cadre in the Corps. Aggrieved with this, he had filed an RTI application dated 24.8.2009 requesting for information on 10 paras. This was responded to by the CPIO vide letter dated 15.9.2009. The AA had disposed of the matter vide letter dated 22.10.2009.
3. The present appeal is directed against the above orders.
4. During the hearing, the appellant submits that he is satisfied with the information provided to him on paras (b), (c) & (f) of the RTI application but he is not satisfied with the information supplied to him on other paras. On the other hand, Capt Gujar submits that correct para-wise factual information has been provided to the appellant.
5. Needless to say, everyone, big or small, has an ambition to go up in life. The present appellant seems to be one such person. It is natural that he would like to join a better cadre for improvement of his career prospects. The appellant's request for remustering into PA Cadre needs to be seen in this perspective.
6. In the premises, the Brigadier, Incharge, AEC, Records, Pachmardhi, is requested to reconsider the appellant's case with a benevolent disposition
7. The matter is closed at the Commission's end.
