Section 13(11) in Punjab Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(11)Where a juvenile in conflict with law who has attained the age of sixteen years and the offence committed by him is of such a serious nature as in the satisfaction of the Board, it is neither in the interest of the juvenile himself nor in the interest of other juveniles of the special home, the Board may order the juvenile to be kept in a place of safety and in a manner considered most appropriate by it.
