Section 30 in The Jammu and Kashmir Animal Diseases (Control), Act, 2006 (1949 A. D.)
30. Officers bound to assist Inspectors and Veterinary Surgeons.
- All village officers and all officers of the Department of Revenue, Agriculture and Veterinary shall be bound-(a)to give immediate information to the Veterinary Surgeon and Inspector having jurisdiction in the area regarding the prevalence of a scheduled disease among animals in the area.(b)to take all necessary measures to prevent the spread of disease, and(c)to assist the Veterinary Surgeon and the Inspector to carry out the provisions of this Act.
