Section 177(6)(iii) in The Uttarakhand Motor Vehicles (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2016

(iii)Flooring. - Flooring material of such public service vehicle shall be sound proof antiskid and washable. The floor shall be safe for the passengers and be covered with rubber or synthetic matting or carpets. All joints shall be dust proof by suitable packing material.
