151. Power to remove difficulties.
- If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act or of any existing law, the Government may, as occasion may require, by order, do anything which appears to them to be necessary for the purpose of removing the difficulty:Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.(2)The provisions made by order under sub-section (1) shall have effect as if enacted in this Act, and any such order may be made so as to be retrospective to any date not earlier than the date of the commencement of this Act:Provided that no person shall be deemed to be guilty of an offence by reason of so much of any notification as makes any provision thereof retrospective to any date before the making thereof.
