Section 5(1) in Tripura Foodgrains (Distribution) Control Order, 1972
(1)On receipt of an application from the head of a family, if the Director is satisfied that the said head of the family belongs to the class of consumers who would require regular supply of foodgrains under the scheme, he may, after making such enquiry as he thinks fit, issue a family card to such head of a family.
