Section 9(5)(c) in Meghalaya Private Universities (Regulation of Establishment and Maintenance of Standards) Act, 2019

(c)it has obtained UGC's prior: approval to set up such centre in the State of Meghalaya. The State Government reserves the right to reject any such application keeping in mind the academic welfare of the students of the State.
