Section 13(1) in Rajasthan Power Sector Reforms Act, 1999
(1)Within sixty days of the coming into force of this Act, the State Government shall establish Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 (Central Act No. 1 of 1956), with the principal objects of engaging in the business of procurement, transmission, distribution and supply of electric energy.
