Section 10(2) in The Orissa Animal Contagious Diseases Rules, 1957
(2)If after examination any animal is found to be affected with scheduled disease or diseases as per Sub-section (2), of Section 17 of the Act, the animal will be destroyed and disposed of in the manner under Sub-rules (6) and (7) of Rule 20. If the Inspector decides not to destroy the animal, he shall send it to the nearest isolation pound.
