Section 410H(3) in The Madurai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(3)On receipt of such appeal, the [Government] [Substituted for the word 'Standing Committee' by the Tamil Nadu Act 26 of 2000.] may, after making such inquiry as may be necessary and giving a reasonable opportunity to the appellant to be heard, pass such orders as it deems fit.
