Section 9(1) in Sikkim Nationalised Transport Prevention of Ticketless Travel and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1981
(1)Any person who carries or causes to be carried goods by a transport vehicle of the Sikkim Transport without payment of carriage charges or makes a false declaration in relation to the weight of the goods shall be punishable with imprisonment for; a term which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to two hundred and fifty rupees or with both and shall also be liable to pay the excess charge specified in subsection (2) in additional to the actual carriage charges.
