Section 1 in The Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
