6. [ Construction of field Channels by Executive Engineer. [Substituted by Act 14 of 1982.]
- If within a period of six months from the date of service of the notice under sub-section (1) of Section 3 or within such further time as the Executive Engineer may allow, the field channels are not constructed by the beneficiaries, the Executive Committee of the Gram Panchayat or the Panchyat Samiti, the Executive Engineer may get them constructed departmentally or through such agencies as he may deem fit.]
