535. Prosecution not barred by imposition of fine etc.
- The imposition of a fine, or the forfeiture of deposit or the cancellation of the licence under rule 534 of these rules shall not be held to prevent the prosecution of any person for any offence which may have been committed against the provisions of the Assam Excise Act, 2000 or the rules framed thereunder or any other law for the time being in force relating to the excise Revenue.
