Section 5(c) in The Merchant Shipping (Fire Appliances) Rules, 1969
(c)in every galley, at least one portable fire extinguisher and an asbestos blanket in addition to the fire extinguisher required under Cl. (b) : Provided that where the superficial deck area of any galley exceeds 45 sq. metres at least two such extinguishers and two such blankets shall be provided.
