36. Charges paid in excess of fair rates.
(1)Notwithstanding any agreement to the contrary, no travel agent shall charge any amount in excess of the rates fixed.(2)Any sum paid by a person in excess of the fair rate shall be recoverable by him at any time within one year from the date of payment from the travel agent and may, without prejudice to any other remedy for recovery, be adjustable by such person for any amount payable by him to the travel agent.
