Section 175(1) in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
(1)The Municipality may, in exceptional circumstances, either on its own or through other agency, provide, free of cost, supply of wholesome water to the public within the municipal area and may, for the said purpose, erect public hydrants or stand-posts or other conveniences.
