Section 3(2) in The West Bengal University of Health Sciences Act, 2002
(2)The University shall be a body corporate by the name specified in sub-section (1) and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal. It shall have the power to hold, acquire, sale, lease, transfer or dispose of property, both movable and immovable, which may vest in or be acquired by it for the purposes of the University :Provided that no such lease, sale or transfer of such property shall be made without the valuation made thereof by the approved valuer appointed by the University and without the prior approval of the Government.
