27. Amendment of section 46.
In section 46 of the principal Act,–(i) in sub-section (1), for the words “for meeting any threatening disaster situation or disaster”, the words “for meeting different aspects of disaster management” shall be substituted;(ii) for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:––“(2) The Fund constituted under sub-section (1), shall be applied in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Central Government in consultation with the National Authority.”.
