56. Excise staff required to supervise operations in a warehouse or godown.
- The Excise Commissioner shall decide what excise staff is necessary for the proper supervision of operations carried on in each warehouse or godown under Rule 55 above. The licensee shall pay to the Provincial Government or the Governor of Assam, as the case may be, at the end of each calendar month such establishment charges as may be determined from time to lime by the Excise Commissioner. The amounts shall be in addition to any other fee payable under the Eastern Bengal and Assam Excise Act, 1910, as subsequently amended and shall not exceed in amount to total actual cost of the excise staff employed for the purpose of this rule.
