(1)The Central Government may constitute a body to be known as the Aircraft Accidents Investigation Bureau, which shall be headed by an of ficer designated as the Director General of Aircraft Accidents Investigation Bureau to be appointed in this behalf by the Central Government by notification in the Official Gazette.
