27. Spoilt Ballot Papers.
- A voter who has inadvertently spoilt his ballot- paper in such a way that it cannot conveniently be used as a ballot-paper may, on returning it to the Presiding Officer and satisfying him of his inadvertence, obtain another ballot-paper in place of the spoilt ballot-paper and the former shall be marked as cancelled. All such ballot-papers shall be put in a separate packet marked "Cancelled Votes" and a note made in the Ballot Paper account.
