Section 4(iv) in The Bodoland University Act, 2009
(iv)to hold examinations and to grant and confer degrees, diplomas, certificates or other academic distinctions and to deprive of any degrees, diplomas, certificate or distinctions granted to or conferred upon them by the University for good and sufficient cause;
