Section 24(4)(b) in Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961

(b)Any member referred to in clause [(d)] [Substituted for 'clause (a) or (d)' by section 2(1 )(b) of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Second Amendment Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 2 of 1984).] of sub-section (2) shall be deemed to have vacated his seat if he absents himself without excuse, sufficient in the opinion of the Land Board, from the meetings of the Land Board, for a period of three consecutive months reckoned from the date of the commencement of his term of office or of the last meeting which he attended, as the case may be, or if, within the said period less than three meetings have been held, absents himself from three consecutive meetings held after the said date:
