Section 122(2) in The Orissa Development Authorities Act, 1982
(2)On a notification being issued under Sub-section (1), the aforesaid Act and the rules made thereunder shall apply to aforesaid premises with the following modifications, namely :(a)the State Government shall appoint an officer of the Authority who is holding or has held office, whether under the Government or the Authority, which in the opinion of the State Government is not lower in rank than that of a Deputy Collector or an Assistant Engineer, to be the Estate Officer for the purposes of the aforesaid Act and one or more officers may be appointed as Estate Officer for different areas or for the same area ;(b)reference to "public premises" in that Act and those rules shall be deemed to be reference to premises of the Authority and reference to "the State Government" in Sections 6, 12, and 15 thereof shall be deemed to be reference to the Authority.[Note [Vide Notification No. 46627/T. Esst. 100/83-HUD/31.10.1983.] - in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 122 of the Orissa Development Authorities Act, 1982 (Orissa Act 14 of 1982), the State Government do hereby provide that with effect from the 1st day of November, 1983 the Orissa Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1972, shall apply to the premises belonging to vesting on, or leased by the Cuttack Development Authority.][Note [Vide Notification No. 46628-HUD/31.10.1983.] - In pursuance of Clause (a) of Sub-section (2) of Section 122 of the Orissa Development Authorities Act, 1982 (Orissa Act 14 of 1982), the State Government do hereby appoint Administrative Officer, Cuttack Development Authority to be the Estate Officer for the purpose of the said Act for the areas to which the Orissa Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1972 has been applied in the notification of the Government of Orissa in the Housing and Urban Development Department No. 46627 dated the 31st October, 1983.]
