7. Categorisation of Intra-State Open Access Customers.
- Subject to the provisions of regulations 5 and 6, the open access customers shall be classified into the following categories:(1)Long term open access customer A person who has availed or intends to avail access of intra-State transmission system and/or distribution system under these regulations for a period of at least 12 years but not exceeding 25 years.(2)Medium term open access customer A person who has availed or intends to avail access of intra-State transmission system and/or distribution system under these Regulations for a period of at least three months but not exceeding 3 years.(3)Short term open access customer A person who has availed or intends to avail access of intra-State transmission system and/or distribution system under these Regulations for a period upto one month at a time.
