Section 5(3)(a) in Bengal Chemical And Pharmaceutical Works Limited (Acquisition And Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980

(a)save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, no liability of Company in relation to its undertakings in respect of any period prior to the 1st of April, 1979, shall be enforceable against the Central Government, or, where the undertakings of the Company are directed, under section 6, vest in an existing, or become transferred by virtue of the provisions of section 7, to a new, Government company, against such Government company;
