- The spittoons shall be of any of the following types :-(a)a galvanized iron container with a conical funnel-shaped cover. A layer of suitable disinfectant liquid shall always be maintained in the container, or(b)a container filled with dry, clean sand, and covered with a layer of bleaching powder, or(c)any other type approved by the Chief Inspector.
