Order 19/07/2022 Heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he does not wish to press these writ petitions on merit, however, seeks liberty to approach the respondent-authorities by way of filing a representation.
Learned counsel for the respondents while opposing the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the representation preferred by the petitioners have already been (Downloaded on 19/07/2022 at 09:07:02 PM) (15 of 15) [CW-7225/2013] decided and, therefore, the petitioners cannot be permitted to file a fresh representation to be decided by the respondents as the same will give a fresh cause of action to the petitioners for filing the writ petitions.
I have considered the submissions made at the Bar and perused the material available on record.
This court is of the view that the cases in which the respondents have already decided the representation, they need not to decide them afresh. However, the cases in which the representations have not yet decided by the respondents, the respondents are directed to decide the same, if the same are pending consideration with them at its earliest.
Accordingly, the present writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the pending representations at the earliest, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
The stay applications and the other pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
