Section 112 in The Orissa Building and Others Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2002
112. Storage of material or article.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that-(a)all materials or articles are not stored or kept on platform, floor or stairways of a building being demolished:Provided that this clause shall not apply to the floor of a building when such floor is of such strength as to support safely the load to superimposed by storing such materials or articles;(b)on access to any stairway is blocked by storing any materials or articles;(c)suitable barricades are provided so as to prevent materials or articles from sliding or rebounding into any space used by the building workers.
