8. Secretary and Other Officers.
- The Government may,-(i)appoint an Officer of the Fisheries Department not below the rank of Assistant Director of the concerned district as Member Secretary of the District Committee; and(ii)provide the District Committee with such technical and other staff as the Government considers necessary.Chapter - IV
