(1)A Municipality may-(a)give a name or a number to every public street;(b)determine the number or sub-number by which any premises or part thereof shall be known ; and(c)require the owner of any premises or part thereof, by a written notice, to put up a plate showing the number or sub-number or such premises or part in such position and manner as may be specified in such notice.
