Section 58(1) in The Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur Statutes, 1987
(1)The Vishwavidyalaya shall establish and maintain a scholarship fund, from which funds may be granted to an enrolled student-(a)to assist him in meeting his expenses while attending the Vishwavidyalaya; and/or(b)as an award to him for outstanding performance in the Vishwavidyalaya.In accordance with joint recommendations of the Administrative Council and Academic Council, the Board shall make Regulations governing the operations of the Vishwavidyalaya Scholarship Fund.
