Section 23A(b) in Rules for the Administration of Justice and Police in the Sibsagar, Nowgong and Mikir Hills Tracts (Mikir Hills)
(b)If any sentence has been suspended or remitted upon conditions, and in the opinion of the President or the Governor, as the case may be, those conditions are not fulfilled, the President or the Governor, may cancel the remission and order the sentence to be carried out, and the person in whose favour the sentence had been suspended or remitted, may, if at large, be arrested by any police officer without warrant and remanded to undergo the unexpired portion of the sentence.
