Section 4(2) in The Punjab Town Improvement Trusts Provident Fund Rules, 1945
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in rule 3 or in sub-rule (1) of this rule no servant shall be required or permitted to subscribe to the Provident Fund while he is absent on leave except during earned leave.[5.
