Section 73(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)All matters to be published in the Criminal Intelligence Gazette shall be forwarded in accordance with Appendix XII direct to the Criminal Investigation Department with a copy to the Superintendent of Police. No return shall be forwarded when there are no items for publication.
