Section 5 in International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) University Act, 2013
5. Institute open to all classes, castes and creeds.
(1)The Institute shall be open to persons of any sex, race, creed, caste or class, and it shall not be lawful for the Institute to adopt or impose on any person any test whatsoever in the name of religious belief or profession or political opinion in order to entitle him to be appointed as a teacher of the Institute or to hold any other office therein or to be admitted as a student of the Institute, or to graduate thereat, or to enjoy or exercise any privilege thereof.(2)The Institute shall be open to students of any nationality who may be admitted in the manner provided in the Statute.(3)No bequest, donation or transfer of any property shall be accepted by the Institute, which in the opinion of the Board involves conditions or obligations opposed to the spirit and object of this section.
